Admission Guidelines for Candidates of 2010-2

 

I. Enrollment Classification

Program: Regular course for the 2nd semester

Term : 2010. 9.1 (commencement date) ~ 12.10 (completion date)

Class : Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced

Total Class Hours : 300 hrs (4hrs/1day X 5days/1week X 15weeks)

 

II. Applicable Candidates

Regular course : Any church member who wish to learn the Korean language centered on True parent's words (No age limits)

III. Application period : 2009.6.14~ 2010.7.9

 

IV. Admission procedure

Submission of application/ Payment for registration (by applicants)

- send completed application form (by facsimile, e-mail,or contact local reception (Fax / E-mail)

 

Selection, and announcement of successful candidates (by True Parent's Language Institute)

- The announcement is posted on the school web site

 Visa application form is mailed from school

 

Visa application / acquisition (by applicant)

- Student submits the application form and required documents to local Korean Embassy

VII. Visa acquisition guideline

1. Students applying for the regular course and the special preparatory course must acquire a "general training visa (D-4) "

 

2. D-4 visa can be acquired only through Korean Embassy in students country.

(It is not possible to apply for D-4 visa after arriving Korea. )

 

3. Since each nation differ in visa application procedures, it is highly recommended to contact local Korean government establishment and prepare required documents in advance.

 

 

4. D-4 visa is effective for 6 months. The Visa can be extended (by 6 months) through Korean immigration office.

 

5. Usually it takes about three weeks to process the student's application and issue a visa. Students are encouraged to apply in advance and start the visa acquisition process by beginning of August.

VIII. Foreign health insurance

1. There is no foreign health insurance policy in Korea. Students are recommended to take out an insurance before coming to Korea in case of sickness or accident. Student can also take out an insurance in Korea after arrival.

-Must submit clinical certificate and medical receipt for each treatment. After insurance company's assessment, 90% of medical expense will be covered.

 

2. Students can choose wether to use the insurance or not.

3. The True Parent's Language Institute will provide paper-work service to enter a traveller's insurance policy provided by CHARTIS Insurance Inc.

 

4. In order to use the insurance policy in Korea, students need a Korean bank account and an alien registration card (supplied from immigration office). It usually takes 20days after arrival in Korea for a student to be able to apply for an insurance policy.

 

5. Insurance cost and coverage range may change due to government policy and insurance company policy revision.

 

IX. Dormitory

1. Room is shared by 2 people. Students are encouraged to share and learn cultures and values of different countries and regions through dormitory life.

2. Incase you prefer to reside outside the campus, please discuss the matter with the school board prior to your arrival.)

 

X. Cancellation

1. In case of cancellation prior to school opening, full tuition will be refunded.

2. Incase of cancellation after school opening, certain amount of tuition will be returned according to school refund policy.
